Restaurants in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the finest cities in the world for fine living and quality enjoyment of things like entertainment and culture; one of the most prominent parts of Amsterdam, though, is the cuisine. It’s an easy way to make sure that you are able to enjoy the city on a full stomach, taking in a wide array of different foods.

The city itself is full of excellent culture and class that come from different backgrounds, so it can be really nice to try out foods that you otherwise would never have looked at!

If you don’t want to spend your time in the city trying out different meals or not really knowing where to go, though, you’ll find that all of the following restaurants are absolute musts to try out;

De Klos

This could be deemed the “home of meat” within the city, as it gives you all of the help that you need in filling your stomach up with the finest steak and ribs in the whole city. It’s found in the middle of Leidseplein, and has a rather gothic interior, but the food is absolutely amazing. If you can handle the mass tourist traffic that surrounds the little restaurant then you’ll be rewarded with amazing meats to enjoy.

One of the most important things that you can do with food is appreciate how it looks or feels – and this restaurant, “the culinary workplace” provides you with vegetarian meals that look absolutely amazing. The abstract structure and shape of the foods alone makes this place an interesting place to eat your food, so if you need somewhere to get some quality food that tastes awesome head over here.

With some quality Dutch-style local foods to pick from, you can get some amazing food to munch upon here in the Begijnhof restaurant. It’s relatively small and a bit minor looking inside, but the food more than makes up for that by being the very definition of succulent.  Whether it’s a veggite-potato covered with smoked sausages and gravy or a stamppot, you’ll find some amazing food to enjoy.

Enjoying traditions can always be a good thing to do, and this is one of the most enjoyable Dutch dishes that we can think of. Thinner and a bit more like a crepe than you might have been expecting, these can be the perfect dish at breakfast or dinner.
